The Easton Area High School Technology Student Association (TSA) started during the 2007-08 school year with about ten students. During the inaugural year, students competed both at the regional and state competitions. We had some of our best finishes to date that first year. One that comes to mind is a first place award in the CAD-3D Engineering competition as well as a 3rd place team in the Architectural Renovation competition.
Now, we number about 20 members, with significant standings in events like Coding, Computer Systems Trouble Shooting, and R/C. Students have ambitions to participate in the national event for 2020. In addition, the EAHS TSA chapter participates in various fundraisers throughout the school year including Philly Pretzel Factory sales, lottery calendars, and much more. Students that have participated in the organization have benefited greatly with support from post-secondary institutions and have given back to the club by assisting with judging and mentoring events for students.
